Non-custodial boundary
- SideYield does not ask for or store a seed phrase, private key, or wallet export secret.
- Market analysis does not require a wallet connection.
- A saved public wallet reference is not the same thing as custody of that wallet.
Never share recovery material with anyone claiming to be SideYield support. If a page asks for a seed phrase or private key, stop and verify that you are using an official link.
What a Polygon activation can request
When the external activation flow is explicitly available, it is staged and may use a short-lived activation link, check the selected wallet, and ask for a free ownership message before any deposit step. Availability and details can change; read the prompt currently shown in the official app.
- A free message signature proves control of the selected wallet. It does not send a transaction, approve tokens, authorize a contract call, or cost gas.
- If the current allowance is insufficient, the wallet may request approval for the exact displayed token amount. Do not approve an unlimited allowance.
- The wallet may then request the displayed deposit transaction on Polygon. Check the network, token, amount, and destination before signing.
Reject a wallet prompt if any detail differs from the official activation screen, if it asks for your recovery phrase, or if the link came from an unofficial source.
Review the evidence independently
A product page is not an independent smart-contract audit. Before using real assets, review the relevant contract, code, operational status, and applicable legal terms. On-chain transactions can be irreversible, and smart contracts, tokens, wallets, and chains can fail.
